Lincoln Lewis is a researcher at the Future Cities Laboratory (FCL) in Singapore. He is a licensed architect in Singapore (MSIA, Singapore Licensed Architect) and a member of the Singapore Institute of Architects. Previous to joining FCL he was working in a private practice in Singapore where he focused on campus planning, public housing development and higher education buildings. Lincoln attended ETH Zürich for his Master of Advanced Studies in Architecture (Urban Transformations in Developing Territories) under Prof Dr Marc Angélil, and received his Bachelor of Architecture (highest distinction) from the University of Kansas where he was a member of the design-build organisation Studio 804.
Lincoln is currently working on the Tropical Town project focusing on documentation and realisation of the housing prototype in Batam and Jakarta, Indonesia. Lincoln is also interested in the urban-rural draw that is tied to the devolution of agricultural communities – particularly in the Midwest United States.
