Lei-Ya is a researcher working on The Grand Projet. She completed her Bachelor's (2010) and Master's Degree of Architecture (2011) at the National University of Singapore (NUS). Her Master's degree thesis focused on the rehabilitation of the medina in Fes, Morocco. From July 2011 to February 2015, she was involved in FACE2050 where she worked on various residential renovation projects, both in Singapore and Germany; feasibility studies of land intensification for aircraft carousel storages; as well as architectural competitions, exhibitions and book publications. Lei-Ya contributed to the FCL publication Reclaiming Backlanes with graphic designs and layouts.
